Terms of Service

These terms apply to the services offered by Chimert Concepts & Logistics Limited (RC 1873091) through this website: export shipping, food processing and packaging, contract manufacturing and private label, the export academy, registration and certification services (including DUNS, U.S. FDA, CAC and NAFDAC), and consultations.

Using the site

You must give accurate information in forms, applications and bookings. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

Quotes, invoices and payment

Prices and quotes are as stated on the site, on your invoice or in your quote. Online estimates are only estimates; we send the exact rate after you submit your request. Payments made online are processed by Flutterwave. Processing and shipping invoices must be paid in full before work starts unless Chimert agrees otherwise in writing.

Shipping

Shipments are handed to carriers such as DHL, Aramex and FedEx. You must describe the items accurately and state their declared value. We cannot ship prohibited or restricted goods. Our liability for loss of or damage to a shipment is limited to the amount the carrier is liable for under its own terms, unless you buy insurance for the shipment. The recipient is responsible for import duties and taxes in the destination country.

Processing

Your commodity is weighed at intake and invoiced by net weight. Finished weight depends on the product and the process; yield varies and is not guaranteed. Finished goods not collected within 14 days of the ready date may attract storage fees.

Academy

Course access begins when payment is confirmed. Course content is for your personal use and may not be copied or resold. You can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have watched less than 20% of the course.

Registration and certification services

Chimert prepares and submits your application. Registrations and certificates are issued by the relevant authorities (for example the U.S. FDA, CAC or NAFDAC), not by Chimert, and Chimert cannot guarantee an outcome. Some authorities contact you directly and you must respond promptly. Where a registration must be renewed (for example U.S. FDA facility registration: first renewal in December of the first year, then every two years), we show the renewal date and remind you ahead of it.

Consultations

Sessions are booked for a stated time and paid for at booking. You can reschedule free of charge, or cancel for a full refund, up to 24 hours before the session; there is no refund after that.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Nigerian law. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit or business. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it with you in good faith; if it is not resolved within 30 days, it may be referred to the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
